Teresa
Legal Assistant
I was born in Torreón, Mexico, into a warm and caring family. I moved to Ciudad Juárez as a child due to my father’s work. I spent seven years there before returning to Coahuila, where I earned my law degree in 2009. Later, I relocated to Monterrey, a city that holds a special place in my heart.
Since childhood, I have had a deep desire to explore different countries. However, as a female lawyer in Mexico, I faced challenges in pursuing that dream. Despite the difficulties, I found ways to travel and experience new cultures. Through these journeys, I met people from diverse backgrounds, each with unique perspectives and stories. I gained insights into global issues, discovered alternative solutions to problems, learned about mutual respect, and formed lifelong friendships. Fortunately, my husband shares my passion for travel!
Stepping outside your comfort zone changes your outlook, builds resilience, and opens doors to new possibilities. It also fosters wisdom and empathy. I’m grateful that my work allows me to help others, which I truly love. I deeply connect with the mission of Houston Texas Immigration Lawyers and the impact we make.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and drawing. My favorite movies are Gladiator and The Lord of the Rings.
